Where people usually meet in Bali

  • Seminyak
  • Canggu
  • Ubud
  • Sanur

How the evening runs

Bali keeps island hours. Sunset comes a little after six all year round, and on the west coast — Seminyak, Canggu — the evening begins with the last of the light and dinner follows from seven. Ubud, up among the rice terraces, is quieter and goes to bed earlier. Clothes are light and casual; temples ask for a sarong, a sash and covered shoulders, and the island's ceremonies are frequent enough that a procession stopping the traffic is simply part of the day. The company is warm and platonic, agreed before the date.

Getting around

There is no train and almost no public transport, so a day here runs on a car and a driver, booked for the whole day — far more relaxed than hailing a ride at every stop. Scooters do the rest of the island's moving. Journey times are the trap: Seminyak to Ubud is an hour or more, and the lanes around Canggu jam every late afternoon. App-based rides work across much of the island but not everywhere, since some villages keep pickups for local drivers.

When Bali is busiest

The dry season, roughly April to October, is the busy one, at its fullest in July and August. November to March is the wet season — heavy afternoon rain that clears, greener rice fields and quieter beaches. Nyepi, the Day of Silence, usually in March, stops the whole island for twenty-four hours: the airport closes, nobody goes out and the lights stay off. The evening before is the opposite, with ogoh-ogoh effigies paraded through the villages.

Questions about Bali

Where should a first meeting be?

Sanur, for its long, quiet beachfront path, or Seminyak, for a seat facing the sunset. Ubud is a delight but an hour inland, so it suits a full day better than a first coffee.

Can we spend a day in Ubud?

Yes — with a driver and an early start. The rice terraces, the temples and the town fill a day easily, and heading back before the late-afternoon traffic makes the return far kinder. Tell us when you enquire and the day is planned around the drive.

What happens on Nyepi?

The island stops. For twenty-four hours, usually in March, nobody goes out, businesses close and even the airport shuts, so nothing can be booked. The ogoh-ogoh parades the night before are worth seeing.

Is any of this romantic or physical?

No — and that's not small print, it's the product. A boyfriend from us is warm, attentive, strictly platonic company. Non-romantic, non-physical, agreed in writing before you meet, and it never changes — whoever asks, whatever's offered.

Will anyone at the event know he's booked?

Only if you tell them. Before the day you agree how you'd like to introduce him and what he should know — the venue, the dress code, the people. He follows your lead and never volunteers the arrangement. He turns up prepared, not hired-looking.

Is this a dating service?

No. Boyfriend Agency is a premium, warm experience you book. It may feel boyfriend-style, but it is not a dating app or a relationship guarantee.

Can I choose who I meet?

Yes. You can browse available profiles or ask our team to suggest someone based on your personality, city, language, and purpose.

Where do we meet?

Somewhere public that you choose — a cafe, restaurant, museum or gallery, park, or the venue itself. That is how every booking starts, and you can keep the whole day public if you prefer.

Can I book the same boyfriend again?

Yes, if he is available and both sides are comfortable. All repeat bookings must remain agency-managed.

Can I talk to him outside the agency?

For safety and privacy, communication should remain through approved agency channels unless specifically allowed by the booking rules.

What can I do during the booking?

Enjoy conversation, cafes, shopping, events, travel days, walks, meals, celebrations, and any respectful social activity that feels right for you.

Is my information private?

Yes. Your request is handled discreetly and used only for booking support, communication, and safety.

Is this therapy?

No. The boyfriends can provide emotional presence and supportive conversation, but they are not therapists or medical professionals.

How does payment and cancellation work?

To book, you pay 30% of the price shown in advance, when you choose a boyfriend. It is refunded in full if nobody is introduced, or if he cancels or does not come; once you are introduced, it is not refunded. The rest of the price shown you pay him directly on the day, and never more.
