What we do not check
We do not run criminal background checks: no country we operate in gives us that access, and nobody here has seen a criminal record. We do not interview boyfriends or take up references either. We say so rather than claim more than we do.
What vetting cannot do
It cannot promise you a good evening. Verification tells you that the person arriving is real and identified — it does not predict whether the two of you will get on, or whether he is good company for a woman who is nervous, and no amount of screening ever will.
That is why the check is only half of it. First meetings are recommended in public places. Boundaries are agreed in writing before you meet. Either side may end the experience if comfort is broken, and using that is never rude. Vetting reduces the risk of who; those three reduce the risk of what happens next.
What you should be able to check yourself
Ask any service how it verifies people, and listen for whether the answer is specific. "Everyone is vetted" is a slogan. A step you can repeat back, and a plain list of what is not checked, is a process.
The same goes for money: terms you can read before you pay, payment through the agency's own channel rather than into somebody's personal account, and a refund rule stated up front. If the answer to any of those changes each time you ask, that is the signal — not the price.
