Tết is a week of visits: grandparents first, then aunts and uncles, then friends, with a tray of sweets and a red envelope waiting at each door. Not unless your family wants that. The first visitor matters to many families, and the choice is theirs. By default he does not take the role and calls only after the family's own first-day visits are done.
What does the price include, and when do the festival options appear?
The price shown is for your country and is the whole price; you pay 30% of it in advance to book. The Tết options appear only while the festival is on there, and the grid on this page lists its dates; outside them you will see the standard day instead.
How will he be introduced to my relatives?
However you are comfortable, agreed in advance, for instance as a friend. He is hired company, not a stand-in partner, so he will not claim to be your boyfriend; if a relative assumes he is, he politely leaves the answer to you.
Is it strictly platonic?
Yes, always. It is courteous company with no romance in it, limits agreed before the day, and nothing explicit.
